Criminal Law

Criminal charges can be an overwhelming and stressful experience. Even a seemingly “minor” charge can have serious repercussions in the future. No criminal charge, in any court, should be taken lightly. Whether you have been charged with a felony or misdemeanor, it is important that you understand your rights and how a conviction may affect your future.

The Nicodemus Law Office handles a variety of criminal matters, including:

  • Drug possession, trafficking, and other drug related offenses

OVI & Traffic

No matter what you call it – OVI, DUI, OMVI, drunk driving, impaired driving – it can have serious consequences on your future. License suspension, large fines, mandatory jail time, and vehicle immobilization or forfeiture are just some of the possible penalties associated with an OVI conviction. Many people feel compelled to plea guilty at their initial hearing because they were told they failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests or their breath test was above the legal limit. Minor deviations in the administration of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests or breath test can effect the results. Ohio’s OVI laws are extremely specific and technical and it takes trained OVI attorneys to protect your rights.

If you or someone you know is charged with OVI, contact the Nicodemus Law Office at 740-422-9280 or use the Contact Form below to schedule an appointment to protect your rights.
